JDH Hair Design was established in 1997.
Prior to opening JDH Hair Design, I worked both for a salon in the industry, as well as an independent contractor here in Mankato, which started in 1992.
I attended Cosmetology Training Center in Mankato where I became licenesed for the state of Minnesota in Cosmetology.
I also attended the training academy in Boulder Colorado for American Crew. I was trained as a regional educator for American Crew and taught haircutting classes & men's methods to salons across Minnesota.
I received the Free Press Reader's Choice award for "Favorite Hairdresser" in the Mankato area.
My salon also received the city of Mankato's 19th Annual Landscape & Beautification award, as well as winning yard of the week in 2009.
What makes JDH Hair Design different from the other salons is that I am independent and the only Designer in the salon, which means that there are less distractions than other larger salons, and you won't have to compete for conversation with the other Designers and their clients.
